Congruex is staffing a fully traveling splicer position tied to Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. You would build and splice fiber cases, test the network end to end and troubleshoot faults. Prior splicing experience is preferred rather than required, but OSHA 10 is a must.
The work
- Build, splice, seal and maintain fiber cases and enclosures
- Handle color-coded and multi-cable splicing from splice matrices and prints
- Prep and label fiber cables
- Run end-of-line tests and troubleshoot network problems, including case swaps
What they want
- OSHA 10 card
- Able to tell colors apart, lift 50 lbs, climb and work at heights
- Hands-on splicing and aerial or underground experience preferred
- Pass a background check and drug screen
